Removed DRM rant as it wasn't Space Crusade related.

Well, I'll say it again. Steam doesn't work nicely in SA, but it works a dream in places with decent internet connections.

I just buy games directly from Steam now which means no danger of stolen keys and often a *much* cheaper price (steam also offers bundles of games at reduced prices from time to time).

I was just as bitter as you about Steam when I was in SA, but I have been converted by the benefits of using it in a country with some infrastructure.

Half Life 2 is a game definitely worth playing so you've gotta get hold of it! (Episode 2 is *still* pending ;D)

Just stick to buying console games and you'll be fine ;)

CnC 3 was my first PC purchase in ages, it reminded me why I prefer sticking to consoles-and it doesn't even have DRM. There's a lot to be said for certification processes ;)

Ah, if I had a console I could buy console games ;)

At least Half Life Episode 2 is still pending, Sin episode 2 got canned due to internal politics :(

I'm largely sticking to remakes now...

Just found your blog y searching for "space crusade remake" in a vain hope that someone might've been making a remake of the commodore 64 classic... and here i am! would be great to see this in full 3d and decent sound fx.
